Terms of service
By using QuoteKernel or this website, you agree to these terms.
Last updated: October 8, 2026
1. What QuoteKernel is
QuoteKernel is a quoting service. You connect a chatbot or agent to it over MCP, the API or the SDK. You train a kernel on a business's pricing. Your chatbot asks the kernel for prices and relays what it returns.
2. Your account
- Give us accurate details when you sign up.
- Keep your keys and credentials private. You're responsible for what's done with them.
- Tell us quickly if you think a key has leaked.
3. Your pricing data
- The prices, rules, questions and past jobs you give QuoteKernel are yours.
- You give us permission to store and use them only to run your kernels and provide the service to you.
- You confirm you have the right to give us that data, including data about your clients' businesses.
4. Estimates and who is responsible for prices
- QuoteKernel works out prices from the pricing you provide. If the pricing you provide is wrong, the prices will be wrong.
- An estimate is not a binding quote. Every estimate says so in the sentence your chatbot is given to relay.
- Only a person at the business can commit to a price. QuoteKernel never commits a business to a price.
- You're responsible for making your chatbot relay what QuoteKernel returns, as returned. If your chatbot changes, rounds or adds to a price, that statement is yours, not ours.
- You and your clients are responsible for the prices you offer and the jobs you accept.
5. Fair use
Don't use QuoteKernel to:
- break the law or help anyone else break it,
- try to get into another customer's kernels or data,
- pull out another business's prices,
- overload or disrupt the service, or
- resell access to QuoteKernel itself except as your plan allows.
6. Plans and payment
- Prices and what each plan includes are shown on the pricing page.
7. Availability
We work to keep QuoteKernel running and fast. We don't promise it will never go down.
8. Ending the agreement
- You can stop using QuoteKernel and cancel at any time.
- We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update this page. For changes that matter, we'll email account holders before they take effect.
